All-on-4 dental implants can replace a full arch of missing teeth using four strategically placed implants.
This treatment is designed to restore both the appearance and function of your smile, helping you eat, speak, and smile with confidence.
Your dentist or oral surgeon will conduct a thorough assessment and discuss the details of the procedure. This includes reviewing your medical history, determining if you’re a candidate for sedation, and explaining each step of the surgical process.
Dental implants are placed into the jawbone through small incisions in the gums. In many cases, a temporary set of teeth is attached to the implants on the same day. These temporary teeth remain in place while your mouth heals.
After surgery, you may experience swelling, bruising, and some discomfort. Over-the-counter or prescribed medications may be recommended to help manage symptoms. During this healing phase, which can take several weeks, the implants begin to integrate with your jawbone. A soft diet is usually required during this period.
Once healing is complete, your temporary teeth will be replaced with a custom-made permanent bridge or crowns. At this visit, you’ll also receive aftercare instructions, including how to maintain your implants and any ongoing dietary recommendations.
