It depends on the option you choose. Those with traditional braces have visits around every 4 weeks. Those using clear or ceramic braces can schedule visits every 4 to 6 weeks and those using clear aligners have visits every 6 to 8 weeks.

We like to see a child the first time when they are around 7 years old after they start getting their permanent teeth. That way, we can monitor tooth growth and determine if orthodontics is going to be needed early.
