Why Consider Dental Implants?

Why Go With Dental Implants?

Dental implants are a long-lasting option for replacing missing teeth. They are designed to look and function like natural teeth, blending in with your smile. Each implant consists of two parts: a titanium post that is placed in the jawbone and a custom crown that is attached on top. Dental implants can help restore chewing function, support jaw health, and improve the appearance of your smile.

The Long-Term Effects of Dental Implants

One of the reasons people choose dental implants to replace missing teeth over other options is they are a permanent solution to regain mouth function. They prevent teeth from shifting into vacant spaces. Maison Dental has professionals that provide remarkable care during the implant procedure and afterward. It is a great way to restore your smile and your confidence.

Here Is What Maison Dental Can Do

Comprehensive Evaluation: We begin with a full dental exam, including X-rays and a review of your health history, to determine if you’re a suitable candidate for dental implants.

Clear Financial Guidance: Our team will walk you through financial options, assist with insurance pre-approvals, provide transparent pricing, and offer direct billing to your insurance provider.

Comfort Planning: We’ll discuss sedation options with you and confirm your preferences. In some cases, a bone graft may be recommended to support implant success.

Implant Placement: Our trained professionals perform the surgical placement of the implant post. A temporary crown may be placed while your mouth heals and the implant integrates with the jawbone.

Dental Implant FAQs

Can I get a dental implant right after I get a tooth extracted?
Some dentists will perform an implant during the same procedure as an extraction but the general consensus is to insert a bone graft and allow the gum to heal for at least three months before proceeding with implant surgery.
It varies with each patient but dental implant surgery can take up to 2 hours to complete.
The pain usually ranges from mild to moderate afterward. Your surgeon will provide local anesthesia and/or sedation so pain isn’t felt during the procedure. The surgeon will also likely prescribe a pain reliever to help with pain once the anesthetic wears off.
Those with good bone density don’t need bone grafts but it is typically recommended to get one to ensure there is enough bone available for the implant.
