A specialized light is used to activate the whitening agents in the gel. You’ll remain under the light in up to 3 sessions for about 15 minutes. The full appointment typically takes around one hour.

After evaluating your results, your dentist will provide aftercare instructions. You may be advised to avoid staining foods and drinks, such as coffee, red wine, or tomato-based products, for 48 hours to help maintain your whitening results.
